What is MCT Oil Powder?
Medium-chain triglycerides (MCT), also known as medium-chain fatty acid triglycerides, comprise one molecule of glycerol and three molecules of medium-chain fatty acids. Simply put, it is a triglyceride composed of saturated medium-chain fatty acids with carbon chain lengths of 6-12.
MCT oil is a liquid composed entirely of medium-chain triglycerides, usually isolated from coconut and palm oils. Typical MCT oils are odorless, tasteless, colorless, or slightly brown. Since MCT is generally in liquid form, it is not particularly convenient for transport and food processing.
MCT oil powder is made by microencapsulation technology, using gum arabic, sodium caseinate, starch natural polymer materials, MCT oil is wrapped up to form a microcapsule with a semi-permeable or sealed capsule membrane, changing the physical state of the MCT at the same time to achieve a slow-release effect to solve the problem of diarrhea, expanding the scope of application of a variety of MCT medium-chain triglycerides, bringing a unique taste and unique flavor. At the same time, it can protect the nutrients of fats and oils, avoid loss, extend shelf life, and improve the shelf life of the time limit.
Green Spring Technology supplies MCT Oil Powder 70% from Palm Oil after microencapsulation, which has high stability, good safety, good taste, long shelf-life, cold and hot water flushing performance, and forms a homogeneous and stable emulsion.
Established in 2000, Green Spring Technology has been committed to researching and developing high-quality, highly active botanical products and is a leading biotech company in China. All of our products are manufactured to the highest international industry standards, complying with EU EC396, EU 2023/915, and the highest solvent residue standards. We have obtained Halal, Kosher, COSMOS, BRC, IFS, FDA, ISO, and many other certifications. Authoritative third-party test reports are available.

Improves Energy Levels, Mood, And Performance
Medium-chain fats are considered one of the easiest fatty acids to digest, utilize and protect. They are especially helpful for those following very low-carb diets, including ketogenic diets, as studies have shown that they can reduce the adverse effects of ketone induction and improve the duration of ketosis. Some studies have found that using MCT can even help improve memory problems, including those with Alzheimer's disease. a 2018 study found that using MCT while following a ketogenic diet helped improve symptoms in people with Alzheimer's disease.
It only makes sense that foods that fuel your brain and help you better absorb vitamins and minerals will leave you feeling more alert, energized, and active. Other studies, including one published in Plos One in 2018, have shown that MCT can help support athletic performance during moderate and high-intensity exercise.
Supports Digestion and Nutrient Absorption
MCT oils are beneficial in balancing the bacteria in the gut microbiome, which in turn positively affects digestive symptoms, energy expenditure, and the ability to absorb vitamins and minerals from food. Medium-chain fats can help kill a wide range of disease-causing viruses, strains, and bacteria that cause digestive problems, including Candida, constipation, diarrhoea, food poisoning, stomach pains, and more.
Antibacterial, Anti-Inflammatory
MCT has natural antibacterial properties that may help balance bacteria in the gut. The following are some of the bacteria known to be killed by medium chain fats: Streptococcus (causing strep throat, pneumonia, and sinus infections); Streptococcus (causing food poisoning and urinary tract infections); Neisseria (causing meningitis, gonorrhoea, and pelvic inflammatory disease), and other strains of bacteria that cause gastric viruses, Candida, ulcers, and sexually transmitted diseases. Research has shown that MCT oil can help control the inflammatory response by modulating mitochondrial activity. This is thought to be due to the down-regulation of pro-inflammatory cytokine production and the elevation of anti-inflammatory cytokines with the use of MCT oil.
Another benefit of MCT is that they reduce the "bad bacteria" without harming or removing the "good bacteria". This is important, considering we need foods that are good for gut health and digestive function. According to some studies, medium-chain fats offer better protection against infection than long-chain fatty acids. A study published in the Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry found that fatty acids and monoglycerides with chain lengths ranging from 8 to 12 carbons had stronger antiviral and antibacterial effects than long-chain monoglycerides when added to milk and formula.
Applications:
For Health Products:
MCT oil powder is widely used in the field of dietary supplements as a fat of plant origin, and at the same time, it has the characteristics of good absorption and fast function. Application products such as protein energy bars, low-fat meal replacement, muscle building protein powder, muscle building protein capsule, sports drinks. Compared with other lipids, medium chain triglycerides have slightly lower calorie content (8.3Kcal & 9.0 Kcal), which can improve satiety, and generally, chain triglycerides are only used as an energy source, do not accumulate in adipose tissue, and reduce the consumption of protein. As a new material for weight loss, medium chain triglycerides will be widely used in the development of weight loss products.
