Anti-Radiation

The pharmacological activity of Ganoderma triterpenoids was first reported by Toth et al. The in vitro assays indicated that both of these compounds had strong tumour suppressor activity. In vitro experiments showed that both compounds had strong tumor-suppressive activity, with ED50 values of 1-11 μg-mL- 1 for both human hepatic sarcoma cells and KB cells, with Ganoderma lucidum aldehyde A having the strongest effect.
