    The anthocyanin in bilberry extract is a water-soluble pigment, which is mainly composed of a combination of five anthocyanins (cyanidin, delphinidin, quercetin, paeoniflorin, and petuniflorin) and three glycosides corresponding to them (3-O-glucoside, galactoside, and arabinoglycoside), respectively. Anthocyanins are hydrolyzed products of anthocyanin and do not contain glycosides. Numerous research trials have shown that European lingonberries have multiple positive effects on the health of the organism.
