What is Sophora Japonica Extract Kaempferol?
Sophora Japonica extract kaempferol is the active ingredient kaempferol extracted from the fruit of Sophora japonica. It is a yellow crystalline powder, slightly soluble in water, soluble in hot ethanol, ether DMSO, and other organic solvents. Kaempferol has strong antioxidant properties, which can scavenge excess superoxide radicals from the body and prevent oxidative damage to DNA and cells. It is mainly used as an anticancer, fertility inhibitor, antiepileptic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-ulcer.
Green Spring Technology supplies high purity Sophora Japonica Extract Kaempferol, which has a purity of up to 98% and is available in nanoparticles, liposomal nanoparticles, and other forms. Nanoparticle Kaempferol solves the problem that it is difficult to dissolve in water, it has stronger solubility, stability, emulsification, and antioxidant properties, and has been used as a pharmaceutical raw material.
Founded in 2000, Green Spring Technology is a leading biotechnology company in China, which is dedicated to the research and development of high quality plant extracts. It has obtained many certifications such as Halal, Kosher, COSMOS, BRC, IFS, FDA, ISO9001, ISO22000 and so on. It has a systematic internal quality management system and organizes its production in strict accordance with ISO, HACCP and other quality standards. The products comply with EU EC396, EU 2023/915 and the highest solvent residue standards.

Looking for a Quotation?Benefits:
Antibacterial and Anti-Inflammatory
Studies have shown that kaempferol has good antibacterial activity against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). The K-Br paper slide method shows that a concentration of 50 mg/tablet can make the circle of inhibition of MRSA up to 8.5 mm, and its antibacterial activity against Vibrio cholerae and Enterococcus faecalis is also very good. In antiviral, kaempferol showed concentration-dependent inhibition at non-cytotoxic concentrations. In anti-inflammation, kaempferol mainly inhibits the expression of inflammatory factors to achieve anti-inflammatory effects.
Contributes to Anticancer
Kaempferol was applied to human gastric cancer cells MGC-803 (in vitro assay), and DAPI staining was observed under a fluorescence microscope, and the results showed that the chromatin of the nucleus was condensed, and the nucleus was dissolved and irregularly shaped. According to the results of the MIT method, it was found that kaempferol could inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells. According to the comet electrophoresis method, most of the cancer cells showed a comet tail shape, which resulted in cellular DNA damage, and finally concluded that kaempferol could inhibit the proliferation of human gastric cancer cells.
Beneficial for Diabetes
Researchers established a mouse model to verify the hypoglycemic and hypolipidemic effects of kaempferol in diabetic mice. Serum triglyceride, total cholesterol, blood glucose, malondialdehyde, glutathione peroxidase, and superoxide dismutase activities were measured in diabetic mice fed with kaempferol and diabetic mice fed with thirst-quenching pills in a control test.
The results showed that kaempferol could effectively reduce serum triglyceride, total cholesterol, blood glucose, and malondialdehyde levels in mice, and significantly increase the activities of serum glutathione peroxidase and superoxide dismutase, with 10 mg/(kg-bw-d) as the optimal dose. Kaempferol can delay the development of diabetes mellitus. The above studies have demonstrated the therapeutic effect of kaempferol on diabetes mellitus.
May Beneficial for Hepatoprotection
In a mouse model of acute liver failure with kaempferol, kaempferol improved hepatic function and pathological changes in mice and inhibited endoplasmic reticulum stress-induced apoptosis in human hepatocyte cell line 7702 cells. It may protect hepatocytes by inhibiting endoplasmic reticulum stress through inhibiting the expression of the endoplasmic reticulum stress-specific apoptotic protein CHOP, which suggests that the use of kaempferol may provide a new intervention for acute liver injury.
Applications:
In Pharmaceutical:
Sophora extract kaempferol is a widely used natural compound with various biological activities such as antioxidant and anti-inflammatory.
