What Is Rice Bran Wax?
Rice bran wax is a kind of natural plant wax, which is obtained when refined Rice bran oil is extracted from rice hull. The natural Rice bran oil contains about 3% of rice bran wax, which can be refined through deoiling, degumming, impurity removal, decoloring and other refining steps to obtain high purity rice bran wax. The appearance is hard and fine crystals, with a light yellow white to light brown solid and a slight smell of rice. It has a melting point of 75℃ and is soluble in chloroform, benzene, ethane, ether, and glycerol. It is insoluble in water and difficult to dissolve in ethanol. Rice bran wax is widely used in food, daily chemical, and chemical industries.
Green Springs Technology supplies Rice Bran Wax which is of natural plant source, non-GMO, safe, environmentally friendly, and sustainable. The rice bran wax adopts a physical process with no additive or solvent residue. It has a light color, fewer impurities, low acid value to slow the rancidity, and low gel content to provide good dispersibility in cosmetic formulations.
Founded in 2000, Green Spring Technology is dedicated to providing our customers with natural, safe, and organic plant extracts. All the products we offer are manufactured to the highest international industry standards, in compliance with EU EC396, EU 2023/915, and the highest solvent residue standards. We have passed Halal, Kosher, COSMOS, BRC, IFS, FDA, ISO, and many other certifications. We have established a perfect traceability system, all products are traceable and can provide authoritative third-party inspection reports.

Applications:
In the Food Field:
Rice bran wax is widely used in the plasticity of chocolate, candy, outer film of tablets, fruit bright and clean preservation, emulsifier and chewing gum base
Industrial Field:
Rice bran wax has a wide range of applications in industrial production, as it can replace industrial products such as Brazilian palm wax and be used in various industries. In addition, rice bran wax is also an important raw material for extracting high-carbon fatty alcohols, and it has particularly high application value in industry.
In Cosmetics:
Refined rice bran wax can be used as a good substitute for carnauba wax and Mexican grass wax, and can be used as a lipstick base. Rice bran wax is also a common raw material for the production of cosmetics, it is made of a variety of cosmetic properties are relatively mild, can be directly coated on the surface of the human skin, often used will be tender skin and can slow down the aging of the skin. In addition to add rice bran wax cosmetics can also enhance the human resistance to ultraviolet rays, summer coated to prevent the skin from being sunburned.
In Pharmaceutical:
Rice bran wax has a wide range of application prospects in pharmaceuticals. First of all, it can be used as a drug coating material. Due to its good solubility and film-forming properties, rice bran wax can be used to coat drugs, slow down the release of drugs, and enhance the stability of drugs. Secondly, rice bran wax can also be used as a base material for the preparation of topical preparations such as soft creams and ointments. Its waxy nature can increase the viscosity and consistency of the preparation, and improve the adhesion and durability of the preparation on the skin.
In addition, rice bran wax can be used in the preparation of solid preparations, such as capsules and tablets, to increase the stability of the preparation and prolong the release time of the drug. The natural origin and good biocompatibility of rice bran wax as a pharmaceutical raw material make it an important part of sustainable development in the pharmaceutical field.
Other industries:
It has been used as a lubricant, and slip agent used in PVC plastics.
Production process:
The refined rice bran wax provided by Green Spring does not use any chemical oxidation raw materials for whitening in the production process. It is made by a special process of pure physical decolorization, which maintains the natural essence and is of superior quality.
