What is Hops Flower Extract?

Anti-Radiation

By determining the effect of total flavonoids in hops extract on the number of leukocytes in radiated mice, it was found that total flavonoids in hops had a protective effect on immune leukocytes in post-radiation mice, and a protective effect on leukocytes in the middle-dose and high-dose groups was higher than that in the ginkgo control group. Promising Treatment for Breast Cancer

In a new study, researchers from the UIC/NIH Center for Botanical Dietary Supplements Research at the University of Illinois at Chicago found that enriched hops extracts activate a chemical detoxification pathway in breast cells, which may be able to help prevent breast cancer. and thus may be able to help prevent breast cancer. The findings were published online on June 7, 2016, in the journal Chemical Research in Toxicology, a subspecialty of the American Chemical Society (ACS), under the title "Hop (Humulus lupulus L.) As a compound in the hops extract, 6-prenylnarigenin (6-PN) enhanced detoxification pathways in these breast cells, and this enhanced detoxification pathway activity was associated with a lower risk of breast cancer.
