What Is Konjac Ceramide?
Konjac Ceramide is an active ingredient in functional food and cosmetics. Clinical studies have shown that the content of Ceramide in human body decreases with age, especially Ceramide is often supplemented in face and hands. The application research of konjac Ceramide has expanded from skin care products, hair washing products and bath products to products with physiological functions and drugs with potential application value.
Konjac Ceramide compounds are composed of Ceramide, glycosphingolipids and Sphingomyelin. Amorphophallus konjac contains Ceramide substances, whose Molecular formula is identified as C38H75NO5, and its name is N - (l-hydroxymethyl-2-hydroxy) -3-octadecalene-2,4-hydroxy-19 fatty amide. Konjac contains 5 isomers of glycosphingolipid Ceramide and Sphingomyelin Ceramide. Sphingomyelin refers to a kind of Sphingomyelin compound formed by combining the 1-hydroxy of Ceramide with phosphocholine (or phosphoric acid) by ester bond.

Moisturizing
Ceramide has a strong ability to associate water molecules, which maintains skin moisture through the formation of a network structure in the Stratum corneum. Konjac ceramide can form a network structure in the Stratum corneum of the epidermis to connect water molecules, maintain skin moisture, and have a strong moisturizing effect on the skin.
Anti aging
Ceramide can increase the content of Ceramide in the Stratum corneum of the skin and improve the symptoms of dry, desquamated and rough skin. At the same time, konjac ceramide can increase the thickness of the Stratum corneum, improve the skin's water holding capacity, reduce wrinkles, increase skin elasticity, and delay skin aging. Inhibit the activity of Tyrosinase and prevent the production of melanin.
Applications:
In Cosmetics:
Neurophthalamine is a highly effective moisturizer that is easily absorbed by the skin and can promote the penetration of other nutrients, especially for elderly skin with an effective moisturizing rate of 80%.
In the Food Field:
It is also widely used in functional foods. By taking Ceramide, it is absorbed in the small intestine, transferred to the blood, and then transported to the whole body, so that skin cells can be well recovered and regenerated. At the same time, it can also cause the body's own biosynthesis of nerve acyls.
