What is Gotu Kola Extract Total Triterpenes?

Gotu Kola Extract contains a variety of triterpenes of the α-caryophyllene type, the main active cosmetic ingredients of which are Asiatic Acid, Hydroxy Asiatic Acid, Asiaticoside and Hydroxy Asiaticoside, which belong to the group of triterpene saponins and are derived from the dried whole herb of Centella asiatica of the Umbelliferae family.
